Account Registration and Usage
1.1. In order to access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Intellectual Property & Fair Usage Restrictions
2.1 Ownership & Intellectual Property Rights
Pak Legal Database® retains full ownership of its original content, including but not limited to:
- User interface, design, and functionality and code.
- Digital library and structured indexing of case law.
- Case summaries and headnotes (authored by our team and enhanced with generative AI models).
- Trademark, branding, and proprietary methodologies.
These materials are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. Users are strictly prohibited from reproducing, modifying, distributing, or repurposing any content for commercial, academic, or automated data extraction purposes without prior written consent from Pak Legal Database®.
2.2 Case Summaries & Data Accuracy Disclaimer
All case summaries and headnotes available on Pak Legal Database® are original works created by our editorial team, incorporating AI-assisted legal research. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, completeness, and cross-referencing across citations, Pak Legal Database® does not assume liability for inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. Users are responsible for verifying information from official legal sources before reliance.
2.3 Prohibition on Automated Access & Cybersecurity Violations
The use of automated tools, scripts, web scrapers, bots, or DDoS attacks against Pak Legal Database® is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to:
- Bypass access restrictions or security protocols
- Engage in mass data extraction, scraping, or automation
- Launch Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks or similar cyber threats
Will result in immediate and permanent account termination, IP/device blacklisting, and legal action, including reporting to the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) of Pakistan under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
2.4 Account Restrictions & Fair Use Enforcement
Pak Legal Database® reserves the right to immediately ban and permanently block any account that:
- Engages in prohibited activities listed in Section 2.3
- Uses temporary/disposable email addresses to create accounts
- Exceeds fair usage limits, demonstrates suspicious behavior, or engages in making/abusing 1-week trial accounts.
Affected users will have their device IP permanently blocked, and no refunds or reinstatements will be granted for violations.
Limitation of Liability
3.1. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, express or implied. Pak Legal Data Base does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free 24/7 365 days. Users are expected to verify data by consulting certified copies of case files from the court and seeking advice from a practicing lawyer.
3.2. Pak Legal Data Base shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.
3.3 Users acknowledge and agree that it is their responsibility to verify the accuracy and completeness of any data or information obtained through the Service by consulting official and certified sources and obtaining professional legal advice.

Data Collection and Changes to Terms
5.1. Pak Legal Database utilizes advanced security protocols to enhance site security and user safety. These protocols automatically gather information solely related to pages visited and interaction metrics to detect and prevent unauthorized activities. Our service employs third-party plugins which may independently collect data; however, none of these plugins, sell your data.
5.2 All data collected by our security protocols is used exclusively for security purposes, securely stored, and automatically deleted after 90 days. 5.3 Pak Legal Database reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes to the Terms will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
5.4 All AI chat logs automatically get deleted in 30 days and are not stored anywhere and maybe deleted at any time to clear load on server.
Use of VPNs, TOR, and Automated Traffic Restrictions
6. To ensure the security and integrity of Pak Legal Database, we employ automated security measures through Cloudflare, Wordfence and other security protocols. By using our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:
VPN & TOR Traffic Restrictions
- Our security system automatically detects and restricts access for users connecting through TOR, known VPN services, rotating proxies, or anonymizers.
- While no country is explicitly blocked, the use of these anonymization tools may result in degraded functionality, limited access, or a complete inability to browse the site.
- If you experience issues accessing the website, disable your VPN or anonymization service before attempting to reconnect.
Download Limitations
- To prevent abuse and unauthorized data scraping, user downloads are automatically limited to 100 files per 24 hours.
- Once this limit is reached, further downloads will be temporarily restricted until the next 24-hour cycle.
- This policy applies to all file formats, including PDFs and HTML case law records.
These measures are fully automated and are not manually enforced on any individual user. They exist solely to protect the integrity of our legal database, prevent abuse, and ensure fair access to legitimate users.

Case Removal Requests
7. Pak Legal Database indexes publicly available court judgments and does not modify or remove any such records unless legally required to do so by a competent court or authority. However, in exceptional cases involving privacy-sensitive information (e.g., victims of sexual offences, minors, or harassment-related matters), we may consider redaction upon formal request. Use of our redaction mechanism does not guarantee removal, and all decisions are subject to internal review and compliance with applicable legal standards. Automated Security Monitoring & Tracking
8. We use cookies and automated security tracking to ensure proper site functionality and prevent abuse.
Security logs may include IP addresses, browser fingerprints, and usage data for fraud prevention and abuse detection.
